Hill training is an essential part of any running programme. It is one of the key elements to help you build stamina, plus it will increase your ability to run successfully up a hill and through the other side. These sessions are held by Greg Deacon who is a Dr of Physical Science. Due to the nature of these sessions they are aimed at the more experienced runner. We meet every Monday evening at 6pm until 7pm opposite The King John School in Shipwrights Drive, Bank Holiday sessions are held on Monday mornings. At Christmas Greg also organises an annual  'Beach Run' with a slow jog from Hadleigh Castle to Chalkwell with an effort on the beach and a 5k trial back to the castle.
