THE FELSTED 10K
Last weekend saw the return of the Felsted 10k, a popular run through the Essex countryside with a number of CPJ's taking part and for Kirsty Binstead this was her first ever race on what was a rather warm and humid day, first across the line for the joggers was ever so consistent Richard Bonham with a time of 39:32 followed by:

SUMMER SERIES CROSS COUNTRY
This event took place on Saturday 10 July at Thornton Country Park and number 3 in the series Adam Hemsworth was the first jogger back at 41.59 and a couple of minutes in front of Richard Bonham who came in at 43:27 with Kieran Neary close by at 44.07, Debbie Harper took 1:03 and Rob Dunn took 1:09 with the goody bag including a face pack!
BEWL WATER 15
Two CPJ’s took part in the East Sussex Bewl 15 a beautiful 15 mile race around Bewl Water lake with breath taking views across this wonderful landscape this multi terrain route winded it’s way through woods, open fields and country lanes with a monster hill on the home straight. With COVID restrictions in place runners could set off between 9:30 and 10:30 from the pretty village of Wadhurst, the weather was a mixture of sunshine and heavy downpours
Richard Bonham was the first CPJ back with a sub 2 hour result of 1:56:30
Adam Poulton came in at 2:08:55 this would be well worth getting a team together next year.
With the lack of competitive races trail runs have become very popular with many Joggers giving this a go, some for the first time, John Sweeney who has been taking part in trail events for several years now came first last week at a 5 mile event "Smugglers" in a time of 40.56 and here are some others:
